1. About the Badge

The Polymath in Digital Economy Badge recognises membership of the Innovorsa knowledge community concerned with the research, learning, design and practice of markets and ecosystems in the digital economy.

The community brings together people developing knowledge and practical capability across the disciplines needed to understand and shape markets and ecosystems in an increasingly digital and AI-mediated world.

The Badge is issued and governed by Innovorsa Ltd (“Innovorsa”).

2. What the Badge Represents

Holding the Badge means that the Badge Holder has been admitted by Innovorsa to the Polymath in Digital Economy knowledge community.

The Badge may also record the Badge Holder’s learning, participation, experience, contributions, achievements and, where applicable, the economic or other impact of markets and ecosystems they have helped to create.

The Badge is a form of community recognition. Unless Innovorsa expressly states otherwise, it is not a professional accreditation, regulated qualification or certification of professional competence.

3. Eligibility and Claiming the Badge

The Badge is available only to individuals who have been invited or otherwise approved by Innovorsa to participate in the community.

Innovorsa determines the eligibility criteria for the Badge and may establish different pathways, stages or levels of recognition within the Badge Programme.

A person becomes a Badge Holder when they successfully claim the Badge through their Dataswyft Wallet.

By claiming the Badge, the Badge Holder accepts these Badge Rules.

4. Recognition and Progression

Innovorsa may recognise different stages of a Badge Holder’s development, participation or contribution to the community.

Where levels, achievements or other forms of recognition are displayed through the Badge, they represent Innovorsa’s assessment under the criteria established for this Badge Programme.

They should not be represented as academic degrees, professional qualifications or regulatory certifications unless expressly stated by Innovorsa.

5. Using the Badge

Badge Holders may present or display their Badge to demonstrate their membership of the Polymath in Digital Economy knowledge community and any recognition recorded through it.

A Badge Holder must not use the Badge:

  • in a misleading or deceptive way;

  • to claim qualifications, expertise or status that the Badge does not represent;

  • to imply that Innovorsa endorses a particular product, service, business or professional activity unless Innovorsa has expressly agreed to do so; or

  • in a way that could reasonably damage the integrity or reputation of the Badge Programme or community.

6. Community Opportunities

Innovorsa may use the Badge Programme to provide Badge Holders with opportunities to learn, connect, collaborate and design.

These may include learning activities, research, events, projects, market and ecosystem design opportunities, collaborations and other community activities.

Holding the Badge does not guarantee access to any particular opportunity, project, commercial engagement, employment, investment or financial benefit.

7. Badge Data and Evidence

Information associated with the Badge may be used to recognise and evidence a Badge Holder’s participation, learning, achievements, contributions and impact in accordance with the Badge Programme.

Where information is acquired, presented, validated or shared through the Dataswyft Wallet, this will occur in accordance with these Badge Rules, the applicable Dataswyft Wallet terms and the instructions and permissions of the Badge Holder.

8. Intellectual Property

The Polymath in Digital Economy name, Badge design, Badge Programme and materials produced by Innovorsa remain the intellectual property of Innovorsa or their respective rights holders.

Holding the Badge gives the Badge Holder permission to display and present their own Badge for the purposes described in these Badge Rules.

It does not transfer ownership of Innovorsa’s intellectual property or give the Badge Holder a general right to use Innovorsa’s name, branding or materials.

9. Suspension or Withdrawal

Innovorsa may suspend, withdraw or amend a Badge or its recognition where:

  • the Badge Holder no longer satisfies the applicable eligibility requirements;

  • information associated with the Badge is materially inaccurate;

  • the Badge has been misused or misrepresented;

  • the Badge Holder has seriously breached these Badge Rules; or

  • withdrawal is reasonably necessary to protect the integrity of the Badge Programme or community.

Where appropriate, Innovorsa may give the Badge Holder an opportunity to clarify or correct the relevant matter before taking such action.

10. Changes to the Badge Programme

The Polymath in Digital Economy community is intended to develop over time.

Innovorsa may therefore update the Badge Programme, its recognition criteria, community activities and these Badge Rules.

Material changes affecting existing Badge Holders will be communicated through the Badge Programme or other appropriate means.

11. Relationship with the Dataswyft Network

The Polymath in Digital Economy Badge Programme operates through the Dataswyft Network.

The Dataswyft Wallet and associated wallet services are governed by the applicable Dataswyft Wallet terms, privacy policy and Dataswyft Network governance framework.

These Badge Rules govern the Polymath in Digital Economy Badge Programme established by Innovorsa. They supplement, and do not replace, the terms governing the Dataswyft Wallet or Dataswyft Network.
